Keep calm

I won't be able to post tomorrow evening so this is to enourage you to keep calm, read everything really carefully and include examples throughout. Have faith in your abilities - I do !

Busy weekend ?

Thought you might like a coastal photo from IIS fieldwork this week.

Hope you all have your revision planned for the next few days - at least the grey weather helps ! Make sure you have everything you need for the exam all sorted out the night before - spare pens and SHARP pencil at the ready !

READ the questions very carefully. Watch your time.

Paper 1 - 1 hour 30 mins just over 15 mins for Question 1 - 4 and just under 15 mins for 5 OR 6, 7 OR 8 .

Paper 2 - 1 hour 15 mins Question 1 & 6 ONLY c 35 mins per question.

EC noticed on the front of the 2008 paper it said to write out the numbers of the questions you have answered on the grid on the back of the answer book. I had not noticed it so well done E .

Study Leave

Well that is you all on study leave now. Good luck for English tomorrow. Remember all the usual hints - keep calm , six deep breaths etc ! Keep watching the news and reading newspapers there are often items relevant to Development and Health.

Make good use of those coloured post it notes - lots of different topics with the different colours.

Keep working hard and call in by or email if you get stuck.

I am going to try and upload some of the video taken during our fieldwork - differing quadrats on the dune system.

Revision

A great first revision lesson today - well done everyone. I hope that gives you a little bit more confidence on limestone landscapes. Just remembering 6 key words per feature should be a good help. Don't forget to include names of places and processes e.g. chemical weathering / solution etc. Good to have some of you handing in work to be marked too - I will mark practice questions for you if you would like me to.
